I have read "Roughing It" and "The Innocents Abroad" several times, but I'd never got around to "A Tramp Abroad". I had heard it wasn't nearly as good as the others. Now after reading it, I tend to agree it's not up to the level of the other two earlier books.
However, "A Tramp Abroad" is still well worth reading/5(). I bought this book by mistake in one of those charity shops that make any idle and rainy Saturday in Oxford a treasure hunt.
What I thought I had found was actually "Innocents Abroad" by the same Mark Twain, but somehow the word "tramp" was left out of my raptorous glance/5.
